WineRoads Italy is a small independent website. We collect as little as possible, and this page explains exactly what happens to your data when you use it.
Last updated: 13 September 2026
WineRoads Italy (wineroadsitaly.com) is operated by its owner, based in Italy. For any question about this policy or your data, write to hello@wineroadsitaly.com.
The site has no user accounts and does not set cookies or store anything in your browser. Your language and theme choices are not saved between visits.
When you send a message or subscribe to the newsletter, the name, email address and message you type are delivered to us by Formspree (Formspree Inc., USA), which processes them on our behalf. We use them only to reply to you or to send the newsletter you asked for. Messages are kept as long as needed to handle your request; you can ask us to delete them at any time.
To highlight the shops most likely relevant to you (Italy or United States), the page asks the service ipapi.co which country your IP address belongs to. Your IP address is sent to ipapi.co for this lookup only; we do not store it and both options always remain visible.
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA), whose servers keep standard technical logs. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views in aggregate without cookies and without identifying individual visitors.
Links to online wine shops (for example Vivino, Wine.com, Tannico) go through Sovrn Commerce, an affiliate network. If you buy something after clicking, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. The shop and the network may set cookies on their own sites; we receive only aggregate statistics, never your personal details.
WineRoads Italy publishes videos on its own YouTube channel through the YouTube API. That connection is used only to upload our own videos to our own channel: it does not access, collect or store any data about viewers or other YouTube users. Watching the channel is governed by YouTube's terms and Google's privacy policy.
Under the GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to its use. Email hello@wineroadsitaly.com and we will answer within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
If we add a service that handles visitor data, this page will be updated and the date at the top will change.
